If you are looking for some Peranakan dessert then check out this new cafe, Ambling Turtle which opened on May 8 where you can find savoury and sweet pastries including croissant, cakes and tarts here. Here you can find their speciality which is the local fusion item such as chendol waffles and satay chicken croissant.<\/p>\n

Their signature items are the deconstructed chendol waffles known as Go Home (S$12.50)\u00a0<\/strong>which can be topped with coconut soft serve, chendol jelly, adzuki beans and gula Melaka drizzles. While for the\u00a0Satay Chicken Croissant (S$10)<\/strong>\u00a0contains chunks of chicken doused in peanut sauce.<\/p>\n

Other variations include\u00a0Nonya Curry Chicken Croissant (S$10)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Pulled-Beef Rendang croissant (S$12)<\/strong>. The cafe has two storeys with a seating capacity of 40 and minimalistic interiors to offer a decent backdrop for your Instagram pictures.<\/p>\n
