Following the rise of the Covid-19 cases, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) has announced the tightening of safe management measures where the new measure will take effect from May 8 to 30 May. With the new measure, the biggest change is the reduction of group size in social gatherings from eight-person to five persons.<\/p>\n

Individuals are kept to two or fewer social gatherings per day whether on visiting another household or meeting with friends or family members in a public place. The cap of eight distinct visitors per household per day will also be reduced to five distinct visitors per household.<\/p>\n

The percentage of employees allowed to return to the office will be reduced too with 75 percent of employees are able to work from home and the number will be back to 50 percent only.<\/p>\n

MTF is reducing event sizes and\/ or lowering the event size caps, beyond which pre-event testing is required.<\/p>\n
