The old-school famous fast-food eatery at Balmoral Plaza, Waffletown will be closing its door for good after 40 years in operation. This family restaurant which is a part of the U.S chain will be having its last day on May 18, 2021. The closure is somehow related to rental problems and current premises is rumoured to be taken over by a supermarket chain.<\/p>\n

Waffletown’s where you can get simple, affordable comfort food of waffles and they are famous for their fried chicken and waffles combo which cost $6.50, plus you can pair their waffles with sausages, eggs, ham or ice-creams. It has been a popular hangout and study spot for students from a school in the nearby area and for those who are fans of Waffletown, you should take the last grab of a meal here before they are close for good.<\/p>\n
