A woman who accompanied her three-year-old son in a swimming lesson was allegedly told by staff to put on the swimming school’s t-shirts to cover up her one-piece swimsuit which is too sexy where other parents might complain. The swim school in question, Happy Fish Swim School has since clarified that all parents are encouraged to wear a t-shirt in order to facilitate their children’s learning process and the school has apologized for a staff member’s behavior.<\/p>\n
The mother who had her first experience attending Happy Fish’s toddler class with her son on April 17 at the swim school’s Bukit Timah location, where she was instructed by a female staff member to wear a Happy Fish t-shirt over her one-piece swimsuit as it was too revealing and other parents find it too sexy.<\/p>\n
Some parents had previously complained about other mother’s swimsuits being too revealing and sexy because their husbands were also in the pool. In an email reply to the mother three days later where a spokesperson from Happy Fish management team on the unpleasant experience and the way that the two staff members had conveyed that point, and she continued by explaining that those two female staff members are two of the school longest-serving staff and received commendations from many of the customers of their services.<\/p>\n
