NEA Officer Allegedly Get Slashed For Issuing Smoker A Fine<\/p>\n

On Monday 9th, an NEA officer somehow allegedly got slashed by a 30-year-old for issuing him a smoking fine. Which lighting up a cigarette when you send out of your HDB flat could get you into a smoking fine. Where this perpetrator then attacked the 2 enforcement officers verbally, punches, and even slash one of the officers on the arm and leg too.<\/p>\n

According to the Shin Min Daily News, the incident took place at Block 503C Canberra Link, where the 2 injured officers were sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment while the suspect was arrested within 7 hours after the attack and police also found a 42cm long stained sickle near the scene of the attack.<\/p>\n

The suspect will be charged in court on Wednesday (11 Nov) which he will face charges for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon and if he found guilty, the man faces a fine, up to 7 years\u2019 jail, caning or any combination of the punishments.<\/p>\n
