S’pore Border Opens To China Starting 6 Nov as China has Risk of Imported Low Cases<\/p>\n

As the earlier tourism business has been hit hard by the pandemic whereby now as the authorities have been progressively monitoring the result of other country Covid-19 cases. Where now travelers from mainland China will be allowed to enter Singapore starting from 6 November onwards.<\/p>\n

All travelers from China and Australia Victoria state will still be swabbed for Covid-19 as they arrive at Changi Airport if they are tested to have negative on the test, they shall be able to roam freely around Singapore without having to serve a Stay Home Notice (SHN). For those from China and Victoria States who are interested to enter Singapore must apply for an Air Travel<\/a> Pass and with the rules of the visitor must have stayed in China or Australia for 14 days before entering Singapore.<\/p>\n

CAAS also outlined the precautions that will be taken to safeguard public health in Singapore.<\/p>\n

  1. The visitors must take a Covid-19 swab test upon arrival at Changi.<\/li>\n
  2. They must take private transport, taxi or private-hire car to their accommodation, and remain isolated there until their test result comes back negative.<\/li>\n
  3. They will be checked on to make sure they follow these rules.<\/li>\n
  4. They must download and register the TraceTogether app on their phones and keep it activated while in Singapore and for 14 days after leaving.<\/li>\n
  5. They must foot all their medical bills related to Covid-19 in Singapore, including tests and treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Hopefully, by this, the traveling and other tourism businesses will gradually improve in time.<\/p>\n
