According to news, Tan company TNS shipping was founded in 1974, which he has expanded it over the years. As the port management services firm eventually flourished into the family business and his 3 daughters were working for him. Then the stories of the power struggles begin as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuppani married Tan\u2019s eldest daughter in 2005<\/li>\n<li>He was later employed to work for the company too<\/li>\n<li>He suggested selling the company to a bigger corporation in 2016<\/li>\n<li>Tan put him in charge of the sale<\/li>\n<li>Tuppani successfully convinced shareholders \u2013 including his wife \u2013 to give their shares to him so it would secure his position in the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the sale went through, Tuppani ended up being chief executive officer end of 2016. Tan, on the other hand, was begrudgingly left with $450,000 from his shares. So, therefore, is a result of him feeling miserable and he couldn&#8217;t sleep well at night. On 10 Jul, Tan confronted Tuppani at a coffee shop in Telok Ayer where Tan had grabbed a knife from his office&#8217;s pantry earlier and stabbed him once he arrived.
