On Thursday (13 Aug), a female customer named Ms. Soon was denied her entry at the Subway outlet at Kallang Wave Mal after she was accompanied by her guide dog as the staff mentioned that due to the MUIS regulation, they cant allow a dog into the shop.<\/p>\n

Soon later were seen having an exchange with the subway employee and have requested the staff to make a phone call. The staff then asked Soon to wait elsewhere and later the employee denied her entry as they claim that subway is a halal restaurant and the guide dogs are now allowed by MUIS.

\nHowever, Subway has reached out to Ms. Soon that they can allow guide dogs and will educate their restaurant teams on how to deal with similar situations and how to render help to patrons with disabilities.<\/p>\n
