Scam Alert On Posing as SCDF Officer and Using Fake Emails To Scam Companies<\/p>\n

According to the statement from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), there have been individual or group which sent fake emails to various companies to try and procure items from them.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

“An example of such a fake email address is \u201cquotation@scdf-gov-sg.com\u201d. All SCDF email accounts end with @scdf.gov.sg.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

SCDF has lodged a police report and the police are currently conducting the investigations. The SCDF advise companies who have received these fake emails to also make a police report.<\/p>\n

“In line with Whole-of-Government procurement procedures, SCDF only publishes invitations for quotations and tenders on GeBiz, the Singapore Government\u2019s e-procurement portal.<\/p>\n

Companies are required to submit their bids via this portal.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
