SBS Transit will be taking stern disciplinary action against a bus driver after speed through a red light and close to colliding with a car on Tuesday (Aug 4). The video was shared by a netizen where the incident happens in the junction at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.<\/p>\n

In the video, the driver notice that an SBS bus was coming fast even after the light changed to red, therefore he quickly horns to warns other cars in front of him and luckily the car in front reacts to his horn and manage to stop and didn’t collide with the bus.

In response, Ms. Tammy Tan, the operator’s senior vice-president of corporate communications said: “We have investigated the incident and do not condone the dangerous actions of this bus captain. “We take a very serious view of this lapse and will be taking stern disciplinary action against him.” SBS Transit also added that they have reached out to the car driver\u00a0to extend their apologies.<\/p>\n
