S’pore Host Lee Teng’s Wife Gina Shares Reflection on Losing Baby<\/p>\n

Singapore based host Lee Teng and his wife Gina have recently announced that they have lost their baby, after his wife Gina started pregnantly and announced this news on 25 May.<\/p>\n

However due to his wife has lost the baby, Gina shared her own reflection in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n

Here’s a translation of her thoughts.<\/p>\n

“After the incident, I blamed myself for a while.<\/p>\n

I wanted to shut down and destroy myself.<\/p>\n

I couldn’t go out to face anyone or anything.<\/p>\n

I was scared that people would ask me about you when they see me.<\/p>\n

I was scared to see people whispering right in front of me.<\/p>\n

I hated myself at first, I hated this world.<\/p>\n

I asked myself: I like children so much, and I haven’t done anything bad in my life either, so why do I have to bear this pain?<\/p>\n

I think this pain will be unforgettable during this lifetime.<\/p>\n

I was starting to wonder if I could ever walk away from the pain, and I shunned even my husband who loves me the most.<\/p>\n

Looking at my body, I can see the scars of your visit.<\/p>\n

It was then I realised that your arrival came with love.<\/p>\n

So your departure should leave with lots of love as well.<\/p>\n

There is a type of love that longs to meet, but never will.<\/p>\n

There is a type of love that longs to give, but never can.<\/p>\n

Thank you for letting me know how much I love children.<\/p>\n

Thank you for bringing me such happiness.<\/p>\n

Thank you for teaching me to cherish a moment well.<\/p>\n

Daddy and Mommy will wait for you to be ready.<\/p>\n

Mommy will greet you with her best side.<\/p>\n

I’m sorry to have worried everyone around me during this period.<\/p>\n
