Trust Yoga Studio: Trainer On Leave and Under Investigation By Police<\/p>\n

Recently there has been quite some news regarding “inappropriate touching” on classes of gym or yoga by those trainers.<\/p>\n

\nThe Trust Yoga Studio on their recent case has announced a statement on their Facebook page after a student had made allegations about an instructor there who basically molested her on butt cheek and towards the crotch area. The incident happens on 11 Jul, where the victim was taking her inverse yoga pose and the trainer alleged touched her inappropriately.<\/p>\n

She made a complaint the next day 12 Jul and despite the staff member’s awareness of other incidents as well as her complaint the trainer in question was allegedly still working. While she received a refund from the studio after she made her complaint but investigation are still ongoing. In response to this, the trainer has been placed on leave or absence while Trust Yoga is conducting an internal investigations.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, that students can be more alert on these acts as adjusting students\u2019 poses can be done safely without touching private or sensitive areas. Newer students may also not be aware that the practice isn\u2019t normal, so this PSA is important to let others know that inappropriate touching is grounds for the report.<\/p>\n
