Mother of Baby Abandoned In Recycling Bin At Tai Keng Garden Arrested<\/p>\n

A woman believed to the child’s mother on the earlier case of a baby boy being abandoned inside a recycling bin along with Tai Keng Gardens earlier was arrested after a thorough ground investigation and use of images from CCTV footage provided by residents. The woman believes to be a 29-year-old Indonesian woman who has abandoned the baby.<\/p>\n

At the moment, police are still investigating and identifying the baby’s father. Meanwhile, the woman will be charged in court on July 30 with the exposure and abandonment of a child under 12 years old. If convicted, she will be jailed for up to seven years, fined, or both.<\/p>\n

The baby boy who were found in the recycling bin earlier was alerted by the resident after a faint whimpering sound inside the bin, the baby which has been placed in a paper shopping bag with a white cloth covering his face. While no visible injuries were found on the baby and his condition was stable.<\/p>\n
