What To Do When You Lose Your Singapore National Registration Identity Card (NRIC)<\/p>\n

As a Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident, you will be issued with a pink or blue National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) however, over the years and decade that it might come a time where we might misplace our NRIC and wonder what steps we have to go through in order to get a replacement card.<\/p>\n

Here are the steps on what you should do when you lost your NRIC card.<\/p>\n

1. Do not make a police report unless a crime is suspected like lost to a robbery, burglary, or lost due to a scam case. If there are such case occurs, please dial 999 for immediate police assistance while for non-emergency, you can lodge a police report using the SPF’s e-Service or by visiting the nearest neighbourhood police post or police centre.<\/p>\n

2. Notify the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority In-Person within a 14 days time at<\/p>\n
