A food panda rider recently witnesses a hit and run accident involving a car and a dog, where the driver just drove off straight after hitting the poor dog and didn’t even bother to stop at all.<\/p>\n

\nThe food panda rider, Noel Chern mentioned that he witness the whole incident and tried to save the dog and stop the traffic after the accident plus other food panda rider also come to help out. Noel also claim that he tried to call an ambulance while the dog is still breathing but the dog stopped breathing after a minute, the body of the dog was put inside a gunny sack later one.<\/p>\n

As Chern notice the dog has a collar with a phone number written on it and he found out it was the dog owner. While the dog owner cried when he came over and sees his dog is dead. According to Chern, the owner have been owning this dog since it was a puppy. Seriously, the irresponsible driver who hit the dog really deserve a better punishment.<\/p>\n

The SPCA has a set of\u00a0guidelines for drivers<\/a>\u00a0who hit an animal while driving:<\/p>\n

1. Stop your car safely.2. Stay at the scene.<\/p>\n

3. Contact the SPCA at 62875355 ext. 9.<\/p>\n

4. If you intend on approaching the animal:<\/p>\n

– Be aware of your surroundings \u2013 watch out for other cars or anything else that might put you or anyone else in danger.<\/p>\n

– If you\u2019re approaching an injured animal, be very careful. It will probably be very scared and might try to bite or scratch you in fear.<\/p>\n

– If you realise you have hit someone\u2019s pet, you may want to see if you can locate its tag to access the contact details of its owner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

SPCA will go down to the scene to help the animal.<\/p>\n
