NPC International, the largest franchisee of Pizza Hut and Wendy’s restaurant has filed for bankruptcy after citing debts of almost $1 billion. NPC International operates nearly 1,200 franchises of Pizza Hunt and 400 of Wendy’s outlets.

\nThese franchises employ over 36,000 workers across 30 states, but NPC international said that all locations are expected to keep open while they are working out a solution to trim debt and negotiate with its landlords.<\/p>\n
